Log costs with vendor, category, receipt photo and recurring schedules. Tag them to a client, job or invoice.
A client portal for agencies and freelancers
Cliently puts your clients' quotes, jobs, hours, files and invoices in one place that you and your client both see. No more "where's my job up to?" emails.
Built by a working agency for its own clients.
Cliently replaces all of it with one record you and your client both see.
Your client sees progress. You see the money. Pick a side.

They never see your costs, profit, tax set-aside or other clients.
Job financials · admin only
Example figures for illustration. Income tax is set at your own rate.
Build a quote, email it, and your client accepts or declines from a link. They don't need to sign in.
Once a quote is accepted, it's the agreement. It can't be changed after the fact.
Your clients sign in with their email and a password they choose. The first time, they get an emailed link to set it up.
They only ever see their own work. Never your costs, profit, tax or other clients.
Pick a period, from a day up to a financial year, and filter by client.
Most client portals stop at status. Cliently shows you the money, privately.
Log costs with vendor, category, receipt photo and recurring schedules. Tag them to a client, job or invoice.
One panel showing what the client pays, gross profit and what you keep.
Income tax at your own rate, plus GST owing, with a total. So you know what not to spend.
Printing, stock, merchandise, a subscription passed through. Turn on "I sell on items", set a cost and a markup (a dollar amount or a percent), add it to a job or invoice, and adjust the price for that line only.
Enter cost, sell price and quantity to see what you'd make before you quote.
Admin only. Your clients never see any of it.
Emails go out under your business name. To send from your own domain, connect a free Resend account and verify your domain.
Nothing for your clients to learn. If they can open an email, they can use your portal, and they can say yes to a quote without signing in at all.
Cliently is a good fit for small creative and service businesses: design, video, web, marketing, consulting.
It's not built for:
Card payments aren't live yet. Cliently connects to your own Stripe account so clients can pay invoices by card, but it's in test mode for now. Until it's switched on, invoices show your bank details, clients can mark an invoice paid, and you confirm it.
By default, yes: one they choose themselves. The first time, they get an emailed link to set it up, and if they forget it, one click sends a fresh link. You can also set your portal to sign in by emailed link instead, with no password at all.
Yes. They open the link in the quote email and accept or decline from there.
Not yet. Card payments for invoices and quote deposits go through your own Stripe account, and they're in test mode for now. Until they're switched on, invoices show your bank details.
Yes. Your logo and colours on the portal, your logo or letterhead on invoices and quotes, and one branded template for every email. To send from your own domain, you'll need a free Resend account and a verified domain.
Never. Costs, profit, tax set-asides and estimates are admin only.
Yes. Monthly allocation, rollover, and over/under, shown live to you and your client. You can also turn on emails that tell you when a client has used 80% and 100% of their hours.
No. On sells have their own switch. Expenses and job profit work either way.
